Scottish Transport Extravaganza at Glamis - Temporary Traffic Arrangements

What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 07/07/2025 the Council made The Angus Council (Scottish Transport Extravaganza at Glamis) (Temporary Traffic Arrangements) Order 2025 under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, for the purpose of public safety or convenience in relation to the 49th Scottish Transport Extravaganza. The effect of the Order is to (1) temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting on Dundee Road (A928), Glamis Castle (C13) and Main Street, Glamis; and (2) temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit on the Kirriemuir to Glamis (A928) and Perth to Forfar (A94) roads. The Order will come into force from 6pm on 11/07/2025 until 5pm on 13/07/2025. Full details of the Order together with a plan showing the affected roads are available at
