NORTH NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(WELLINGTON STREET, KETTERING)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Wellington Street, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Wellington Street, Kettering from the junction of Montagu Street to the junction of Lindsay Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during road crossing works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 12 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Lindsay Street and Eskdaill Street.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(VICTORIA ROAD, WELLINGBOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Victoria Road, Wellingborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Victoria Road, Wellingborough from outside no.35 to no.39.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 2 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Alma Street, Church Street and Castle Way.

(MILL ROAD, KETTERING)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Mill Road, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Mill Road, Kettering from the junction of Linden Avenue.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works on the road crossing.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Croyland Road, Wellingborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Croyland Road, Wellingborough from outside John Drage Funeral directors to Benedictine Close.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during anti-skid works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of High Street, Wellingborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Wellingborough from the junction of Salem Lane to Church Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the replacement of manhole cover and frames.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Cecil Street, Rothwell as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Cecil Street, Rothwell from outside no.7.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during sewer repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 8 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Castle Hill, Bell Hill and New Street.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Water Street, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Water Street, Kettering from the junction of Montagu Street to the junction of Alfred Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during road crossing works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 17th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 2 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Lower Alfred Street and Thorngate Street.
