TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION
An order has been made to introduce a 40mph speed restriction on Lane Head Road from South Lane to outside Greenacre, from 16 July 2025 for approximately three days.

Oxspring Lane from Long Lane to Toll Bar Close. Diversion route: Mortimer Road/The Green/Green Road/Castle Lane/Long Lane, from 24 September 2025 for approximately two weeks.
Roughbirchworth Lane for a distance of 20 metres from the junction with Long Lane. Diversion route: Park Lane/Cross Lane/Grudby Lane/Dyson Cote Lane/Tofts Lane/ Underbank Lane/Manchester Road/Manchester Road (A616)/A616/Sheffield Road /Halifax Road/Thurgoland Bank/Sheffield Road, from 7 August 2025 for approximately eight weeks.
