What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
FOOTPATH NO 39 (PART), ETON 
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made 
an Order, the effect of which will be:
Prohibit any person from proceeding along this part of Footpath No 39, Eton from its junction with Footpath No 46, Eton to its junction with B3026 Eton Wick Road.

The alternative route for pedestrians is via B3026 Eton Wick Road, B3026 Keates Lane, B3022 Slough Road, Common Lane and Footpath No. 39, Eton.

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate refurbishing works at properties adjacent to the footpath and as result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Order will come into operation from 00.01 hours on 
Thursday 17 July for a period of 6 months.
