Enfield - Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures and Parking Suspensions due to Essential Water and Utility Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

CHEAPSIDE N13 – 4546

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works

Operational Date and times:

22:00 hours on 21 July 2025 for 1 night or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road between Nos. 1-10.

Whilst this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

CUCKOO HALL LANE AND BEATRICE ROAD N9 – 4547

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 21 July 2025 for 12 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to on:

Cuckoo Hall Lane N9

  • Suspend parking on both sides of the carriageway between Nos 10-26 for approximately 70 metres; and

Beatrice Road N9

  • Suspend parking on both sides of the carriageway from its junction with Cuckoo Hall Lane for approximately 28 metres.

LARMANS ROAD EN3 – 4548

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 22 July 2025 for 7 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on both sides of the carriageway between Nos.1-7/9.

HARBET ROAD N18 – 4549

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 23 July 2025 for 7 months or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road between the junctions of Hawley Road and Rivermead Road.

Whilst this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

HERTFORD ROAD AND BOUNCES ROAD N9 – 4550

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 23 July 2025 for 6 weeks or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to on:

Hertford Road N9

  • Close this road between Monmouth Road and Bury Street N9 for northbound travel only from 118 Hertford Road to the junction with Bury Street; and

Bounces Road into Hertford Road N9

  • Left turn only; and

Hertford Road N9

  • Southbound travel only – between Bury Street and 118 Hertford Road.

    Whilst this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

ALMA ROAD, SOUTH STREET AND WOODHALL ROAD EN3 – 4551

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 23 July 2025 for 5 weeks or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to on:

Alma Road EN3

  • Close this road from its junction with South Street for approximately 50 metres northwards; and

South Street EN3

  • Close this road from its junction with Woodall Road to Alma Road; and

Woodall Road EN3

  • Suspend parking on both sides of the carriageway from the west side of its junction with South Street for approximately 100 metres southwards.

    Whilst these roads are closed local diversions would be in operation.
