SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Perry Park Road, Rowley Regis) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Perry Park Road, which will be closed from the junction of Highfield Road to the western side of property No.58 (access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits).

Traffic will be diverted via Waterfall Lane, Highfield Road and vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 24/07/2025 effective from 21/07/2025 (24hr). The Borough Council of Sandwell (Trinity Street, Cradley Heath) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Trinity Street, which will be closed between the junctions of Halesowen Road & Haden Road (eastern side), (access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits). Traffic will be diverted via Halesowen Road, Reddal Hill Road, Haden Road & vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 24/07/2025 effective from 22/07/2025 (24hr). Purpose – to facilitate access to install a new water service pipe by Severn Trent Water. The Borough Council of Sandwell (Shelsley Avenue, Rowley Regis) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Shelsley Avenue, between Kemsey Close and Wolverley Crescent. Traffic will be diverted via Shelsley Avenue, Wolverley Crescent, Martley Road, Newbury Lane, Throne Road, Shelsley Avenue and vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to commence and be completed by 24/07/2025. Purpose – to facilitate the repair/replacement of a defective manhole cover and frame. The Borough Council of Sandwell (Wattville Road, Smethwick) (Temporary One-Way Road Closure) Order 2025 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Wattville Road, which will be closed one-way in a southerly direction between the junctions of William Street West (southern side) and Downing Street (northern side), (access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits). Traffic will be diverted via Holyhead Road, Middlemore Road, Lewisham Road and Downing Street. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 24/07/2025 effective from 22/07/2025. Purpose – to facilitate access for water service works by Severn Trent Water.
