Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

HERTFORD ROAD EN3 – 4542

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works

Operational Date and times:

09:30 hours until 15:30 hours on 11 July 2025 for 1 day or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend the northbound cycle lane on this road, from the southwestern flank wall of No.510 to outside the common boundary of Nos.550/552.

CARTERHATCH ROAD EN3 – 4543

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works

Operational Date and times:

09:30 hours until 15:30 hours on 12 July 2025 for 1 day or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road at its junction with Hertford Road, eastwards for approximately 45 metres. Whilst this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

STRATFIELD PARK CLOSE N21 – 4544

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

01:45 hours until 09:00 hours on 13 July 2025 for 1 night or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road from outside the grass verge of No.6 Stratfield Park Close. Whilst this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

BIRKBECK ROAD EN2 – 4545

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 14 July 2025 for 12 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on both sides of the carriageway from the southern flank wall of No.2, northwards for approximately 12 metres.

CHURCH STREET EN2 – EM60

Reason for 14(1) Order – FOLLOW ON FROM 14.2 NOTICE

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 2 July 2025 for a further 2 days.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on both sides of the carriageway between Nos 32-40.

FORE STREET N18 – TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR STADIUM EVENTS – EM61

Reason for 14(1) Order – FOLLOW ON FROM 14.2 NOTICE

Operational Date and times:

Between 20:30 hours and 23:59 hours on:

  • 3 July 2025

  • 18 July 2025

  • 19 July 2025

  • 22 July 2025

  • 23 July 2025

  • 25 July 2025

  • 26 July 2025

    The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on both sides of the carriageway, on the western side from its junction with High Road N17, to the junction with the A406 North Circular Road.

CARTERHATCH ROAD EN3 – EM62

Reason for 14(1) Order – FOLLOW ON FROM 14.2 NOTICE

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 8 July 2025 for a further 2 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road from its junction with Brimsdown Avenue, westwards for approximately 30 metres. Whilst this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

GILBERT STREET EN3 – EM63

Reason for 14(1) Order – FOLLOW ON FROM 14.2 NOTICE

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 6 July 2025 for a further 2 day or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to:

• close this road from outside No.23 to its junction with Diary Close; and

• suspend parking on Hertford Road EN3 between Nos. 573-599.

Whilst this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs.

Access will be maintained only as far as the works allow
