Botley Road, Fareham - Temporary Road Closure due to pole replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Botley Road between its junction with Middle Road and its junction with Duncan Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bridge Road, Oak Hill, Providence Hill, Bursledon Road, West End Road, Kanes Hill, Charles Watts Way, Grange Road, Broad Oak, High Street, Mill Hill, Botley Hill, Station Hill.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 21st July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 days and working between the hours 08:00-18:00). The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for GM Networks to complete pole replacement.
