Birch Hill Road, Bracknell - Temporary Road Closure due to Maintenance Works
What is happening?

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:
a) Birch Hill Road, Bracknell in both directions between the junctions of Liscombe and Birch Hill Shopping Centre.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: Birch Hill Road, Ringmead, and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Vodafone carry out maintenance works to the telecoms mast.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 7th August 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between for one day on 7th August 2025.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
