Ridgemount Road and Cross Road, Sunningdale - Temporary Road Closures due to an Event
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(RIDGEMOUNT ROAD & CROSS ROAD (PART), SUNNINGDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part Ridgemount Road from its junction with Priory Road to its junction with Cross Road that part of Cross Road from southern boundary of property known as “Fairways” to its junction with Ridgemount Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is because of the likelihood of danger to the public caused by an anticipated increase in vehicle numbers due to activities being held on adjacent land and to facilitate the smooth & safe flow of traffic.
The proposed Order will come into operation each day between 06:00 hours and 19:00 hours from Wednesday 23 of July until Sunday 27 July 2025.
The restriction shall apply when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
