Crow Lane - Temporary Road Closure

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CROW LANE, CHESTERFIELD

WHEN: 21 July to 23 July 2025 (07:00 to 14:00 each day)
WHERE: Crow Lane, Chesterfield between its access to Chesterfield rail station and its Jct. with Tapton Terrace.
REASON: To facilitate urgent tree works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Crow Lane, Piccadilly Road, A632, Lordsmill Interchange, B6543 Lordsmill Street / St Marys Gate / Holywell Street, Donut Interchange, Brewery Street, Brimington Road Interchange, Malkin Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
