What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Parking, Scarborough, Burniston, Scalby, Snainton, Sneaton, Robin Hoods Bay, Lealholm, Houlsyke, Danby, Harewood Dale, Seamer, Staintondale, Ugthorpe, Lythe, Aislaby, Sleights, Littlebeck, High Normanby, Filey, Brompton, Hackness & Whitby, Order 2025 No 231

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using & parking on the named roads due to resurfacing & associated lining works. It is envisaged that the restrictions will be in force from 14/07/25 until 31/03/26, however the full length of the closure Order is until 31/12/26. The closure periods will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & local alternative routes will be signed on site where appropriate. Vehicles will also be prohibited from parking along the above roads, as & when works are in progress & will be put into effect by notices & signs. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Parking, Manor Gardens, Scarborough, Order 2025 No 242 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using or parking on Manor Gardens, Scarborough due to footway resurfacing works. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 14/07/25 until 22/08/25 inclusive, however the max duration of this Order will be to 13/01/27. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate.
