Wolverton Road and Birmingham Road, Dudley - Temporary Road Traffic Restrictions
What is happening?
DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Footway at Wolverton Road and Birmingham Road, Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit the use of the footway from outside no.82 Wolverton Road to outside no.14 Birmingham Road, Dudley, for the purpose of installation of a new HV cable being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 17/7/25 at 07:30 and will remain in force until 23/7/25 at 17:00 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Pedestrians will be diverted via: Corporation Road, Field Road, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
