Bullbridge Hill - Temporary Road Closure

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BULLBRIDGE HILL, AMBERGATE

WHEN: 12 July to 13 July 2025.
WHERE: Bullbridge Hill, Ambergate between its jct. with the A610 Ripley Road and its jct. with Allen Lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway improvement and resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ripley Road, Matlock Road, Derby Road, Main Road, Crich Road, Sandy Lane, Market Place, The Common, Surgery Lane, Crich Common, Bullbridge Hill and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
