Hands Road- Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HANDS ROAD, HEANOR
WHEN: 28 July to 30 July 2025.
WHERE: Hands Road, Heanor between its jct. with Starthe View and its jct. with Stone Avenue.
REASON: To facilitate repairs to Severn Trent Water apparatus.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hands Road, Church Street, Mansfield Road, Station Road, Aldreds Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
