TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD
TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council have made an Order
under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road
Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the public bridleway and the effect will be to prohibit any
Pedestrian, Equestrian and/or Cyclist and their usual accompaniments from
proceeding in that length of Public Bridleway Number 9 Thorpe In Balne in the City of
Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice from the 14th day of
July 2025.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst works
are being carried out to replace a bridge
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for pedestrians, equestrians
and/or cyclists affected by the Order. (PO681)

The Order will continue in force up to and including the 14th day of January 2026 or
until the works which it is proposed to carry out in or near the said public bridleway
have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

grid reference SE 586 094 heading generally east for 480 metres to grid reference
SE 586 094.
