intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in
that section of road that comprises of the railway level
crossing area on Norton Common Road at Norton in the City
of Doncaster District and suspend the 7.5 tonnes weight
restriction as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst the annual level crossing test is undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via Station Road, High
Street, West End Road, Ryecroft Road, Churchfield Road,
Campsall Road, Selby Road, Norton Common Road and vice
versa.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the roads and the
effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding
or waiting in those lengths of Top Road and Station Road at
Barnby Dun in the City of Doncaster District as described in
the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to
in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst carriageway resurfacing works following
traffic light scheme are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Top Road, Hatfield Lane, Talbot
Avenue, Stainforth Road, Doncaster Road, Church Road,
Station Road, Broadway, High Street, Thorne Road, Thorne
Road Hatfield Lane Roundabout, Armthorpe Lane and vice
versa.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions
of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
Any contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed
by this Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being
issued and the subsequent removal of a vehicle.

2025.
The roads will reopen each evening. The roads to be closed
on up to 2 occasions between the above dates only. Works
are weather dependant therefore an exact date cannot be
given.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closures may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 31st August 2025

Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
proposes to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a No waiting at any
time restriction on the following lengths of road:-
i) Valley Drive, Branton
South-east side
from a point 10 metres north-east of its intersection with the
extended north-eastern kerb-line of Rural Crescent, for a
distance of 25 metres in a south-westerly direction
ii) Rural Crescent, Branton
Both sides
From its junction with Valley Drive, for a distance of 10 metres
in a south-easterly direction.
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and
unloading goods and in connection with building industrial or
demolition operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic,
the maintenance of the roads and the services therein in
pursuance of statutory powers or duties, for the collection and
delivery of postal packets or if it is a vehicle being operated
by or on behalf of the South Yorkshire Safety Camera
Partnerships while carrying out roadside monitoring or
enforcement operations. The usual exceptions for disabled
persons vehicles will also apply.
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing
the restricted road and a statement of the Councils reasons
for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the
Council Office, Civic Office, Waterdale Doncaster between the
hours of 9 am and 4.30 pm or on the City of Doncaster
