What is happening?

(SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2006 (AMENDMENT NO. )
ORDER
Shropshire Council proposes to introduce the below speed limits onto the following lengths of roads in Longden:
30mph
Longden Road Between a point 82 metres south of its
junction with Manor Lane to a point 166
metres south of its junction with
Summerhouse Lane.
School Lane Between a point 55 metres east of its
junction with Shrewsbury Road and a
point 119 metres east of that junction.
Shrewsbury Road Between a point 247 metres north of its
junction with Plealey Lane and a point
72 metres north of its junction with
School Lane.
Variable 20mph/30mph when indicated by signing
Longden Road Between its junction with Manor Lane
and Shrewsbury Road and a point 82
metres south of that junction.
Shrewsbury Road Between a point 72 metres north of its
junction with School Lane and its
junction with Manor Lane and Longden
Road.
Manor Lane In its entirety.
Well Mead Lane In its entirety.
School Lane Between its junction with Shrewsbury
Road and a point 55 metres east of that
junction.
Any existing speed limits on the above lengths of roads will be revoked.

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (PLEALEY LANE, LONGDEN) (AMENDMENT) ORDER
Shropshire Council proposes to introduce the following parking restrictions in Longden:
Prohibition of stopping on School Keep Clear entrance markings Monday-Friday 8:15am-9:15am and 2:30pm- 3:30pm
Plealey Lane (south side)
From a point 7 metres east of the
Longden School car park access for a
distance of 45 metres in a westerly
direction.
