Jeffries Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
JEFFRIES LANE, CRICH
WHEN: 29 July to 01 August 2025
WHERE: Jeffries Lane, Crich between its Jct. with Weavers Close and its Jct. with Cromford Road.
REASON: To facilitate the installation of a new water connection.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Jeffries Lane, Coasthill, Market Place, Bowns Hill and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
