What is happening?
SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL (STOPPING RESTRICTIONS, WAITING
RESTRICTIONS, LOADING RESTRICTIONS & PARKING PLACES) (MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT NO.19) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 10 July 2025 Sheffield City Council made the above Order which comes into operation on the 14 July 2025 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Orders will be to introduce:
No waiting at any time on parts of Gibraltar Street, Paradise Street and Silver Street;
Paid-for parking place 8:00am-8:30pm on parts of Silver Street;
Loading place on part of Westbar Green;
And remove:
No waiting at any time on parts of Paradise Street;
No waiting 8:00am-8:30pm on parts of Paradise Street and Silver Street;
Paid-for parking places 8:00am-8:30pm on parts of Gibraltar Street, Paradise Street and Silver Street;

or examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 14 July 2025 make application for that purpose to the High Court.
