Maple Walk, Andover - Temporary Footpath Closure due to Gas Mains Replacement

What is happening?

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE – MAPLE WALK, ANDOVER, TEST VALLEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: that part of Maple Walk between its junction with Floral Way and continuing to a point 77 metres East on Maple Walk.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Floral Way, Lime Walk, Pine Walk.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 21st July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 weeks and in operation 24 hours a day).

The Temporary Footpath Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for I&G Contractors to complete gas mains replacement. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: emmabayley@igcontractorsltd.com
