Monk Sherbourne Road, Wootton St Lawrence - Temporary Road Closure due to Utility Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – MONK SHERBOURNE ROAD, WOOTON ST LAWRENCE, BASINGSTOKE & DEANE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Monk Sherbourne Road between its junction with White Hart Lane and its junction with Old Chapel Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: White Hart Lane, Old Chapel Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 21st July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 weeks and working between the hours 08:00–17:00).
