KEYHOLE BRIDGE, WHITECLIFF ROAD, POOLE – REPLACEMENT CHANNEL WORKS
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT: Road closed to all vehicles and no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
WHERE: Keyhole Bridge, Whitecliff Road
WHY: To facilitate a pedestrian diversion route during the replacement of the sluice channel culvert by BCP Council
WHEN: Anticipated dates: 28 July 2025 until 16 November 2025
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: Via Twemlow Avenue, Orchard Avenue, Sandbanks Road, Sherwood Avenue, Whitecliff Road

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
