Church Lane, East Harptree, Bristol - Temporary closure of Public Footpath due to electrical works

What is happening?

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a closure to the section of Public Footpath CL8/1 commencing from ST56555600 and proceeding in a generally ESE direction for approx 37m to a junction with Church Lane at ST56575598.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely National Grid will be carrying out electrical works.

The Order will come into force on 1st September 2025 and will be effective until 6th October 2025.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Public Footpath CL8/1 – Public Footpath CL8/10 – Public Footpath CL8/11 – Church Lane. Vice Versa.
