Mount Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Bridgwater Temporary Closure of Mount Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Mount Street - from the junction with Angel Place Shopping Centre to the junction with Castle Moat. A total distance of 179 metres. This Order will enable Taylor Woodrow to carry out civils and resurfacing works on behalf of Somerset Council.
The Order becomes effective on 8th July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 16th July 2025 and last until 18th July 2025 between the hours of 18:30-23:00 for a total of 3 evenings.
