What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES CLANRICARDE GARDENS
Junction with NOTTING HILL GATE Prohibited Right Hand Turns
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.
The righthand turn access and egress for Clanricarde Gardens is to be prohibited at the junction of Notting Hill Gate.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Monday 21st July until 18.00hrs on Friday 25th July 2025, with a backup dates of Tuesday 22nd July 2025 until Saturday 26th July, or until the works are completed.
Diverted through traffic may use Notting Hill Gate,
Palace Gardens Terrace, Kensington Mall, Kensington Church Street, Notting Hill Gate, Clanricarde Gardens, or Notting Hill Gate, Wellington Terrace, Palace Court, Moscow Road, Ossington Street, Wellington Terrace, Notting Hill Gate.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
