Dundas Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Dundas Lane) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.122) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 23rd July 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
DUNDAS LANE
From its junction with Burrfields Road to its junction with Quartremaine Road.
From its junction with Airport Service Road for 150 metres.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate gas works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 23rd July 2025 to 31st December 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Burrfields Road Roundabout, Burrfields Road, Eastern Road, Airport Service Road, Dundas Lane and Dundas Lane, Quartremaine Road, Airport Service Road Vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
