Little Knowl Hill, Newbury, Basingstoke & Deane - Temporary Road Closure due to telecom works

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. 
ROAD TO BE CLOSED
: that part of Little Knowl Hill between its junction with A339 and continuing to a point 70 metres North on Little Knowl Hill.  ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A339, Crabs Hill, Wolverton Road, Wheathold, Little Knowl Hill.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Tuesday 15th July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 days and working between the hours 08:00-16:30). 
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Commhoist to complete telecom upgrade works safely. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: pam.broli@commhoist.co.uk
