The Hillway, Porchester, Fareham - Temporary Road Closure due to gas mains replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of The Hillway between its junction with Dore Avenue and its junction with Hill Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hill Road, Hill View Road, The Hillway.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 14th July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 19 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for I&G Contractors to complete gas mains replacement safely. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: emmabayley@igcontractorsltd.com
