Pound Lane, Ampfield, Test Valley - Temporary Road Closure due to repairs to rail bridge
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Pound Lane between its junction with Green Lane and its junction with Flexford Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pound Lane, Flexford Road, Baddesley Road, Hursley Road, Hook Road, Winchester Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 14th July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days and working between the hours 08:00-16:00).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Dyer & Butler to complete brickwork repairs to rail bridge safely. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: pawel.golunski@dyerandbutler.co.uk
