What is happening?
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
(Juniper Lane, Flackwell Heath) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Juniper Lane for approx. 786M.
Alternative route: Whiptail Lane, The Green, Wycombe Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Tree maintenance works commence on 4 August 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Chiltern Hill, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Chiltern Hill for approx. 41M.
Alternative route: Chiltern Hill, High Street, Gravel Hill, Joiners Lane, Upway, Ellis Avenue and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Network Rail works commence on 14 July 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 July 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Peters Ln, Monks Risborough) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Peters Ln for approx. 155M.
Alternative route: Peters Ln, Kop Hill Rd, New Rd, A4010 and vice versa. The closure is required whilst UKPN remedial works commence on 28 July 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 July 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Denham Ln, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Denham Ln for approx. 1KM.
Alternative route: Denham Ln, Chesham Ln, Rickmansworth Ln, Copthall Ln, Gravel Hill, Joiners Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water replace section of dropped sewer works commence on 25 July 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 July 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Bull Lane, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bull Lane for approx. 602M.
Alternative route: Bull Lane, Austenwood Common, South Side, Packhorse Road, Station Approach, Oxford Road, West Common and vice versa. The closure is required whilst gas mains replacement commences on 28 July 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 July 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Hedsor Lane, Hedsor) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hedsor Lane for approx. 42M.
Alternative route: Broad Lane, Wooburn Common Road, Sheepcote Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water works commences on 22 July 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 22 July 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Bowstridge Lane, Chalfont St Giles) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bowstridge Lane for approx. 57M.
Alternative route: Bowstridge Lane, Dawney, Three Households, Narcot Lane, Narcot Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach works commences on 8 July 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 8 July 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Deadhearn Lane, Chalfont St Giles) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Deadhearn Lane for approx. 76M.
Alternative route: Nightingales Lane, Gorelands Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach works commence on 19 July 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 29 July 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Windsor Hill, Wooburn Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Windsor Hill for approx 491M.
Alternative route: Green Lane, Wooburn Town, Brookbank, Kiln Lane, Holtspur Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach works commences on 31 July 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 31 July 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Gorelands Lane, Chalfont St Giles) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Gorelands Lane for approx. 347M.
Alternative route: Nightingales Lane, Deadhearn Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst CityFibre works commences on 1 July 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 July 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Various Rds, Chiltern) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in the rds below.
Layers End, Chalfont St Peter: Watchet Ln, Little Kingshill: Latimer Rd, Latimer.
The closure is required whilst plane and patch works commence on 1 September 2025.
PLEASE NOTE: The full duration of this multi-order is to allow coordination of a number of works, and flexibility given their weather dependent nature. The actual times that each road will be closed for will be much less than this and could be either day or night works only. The full details will be publicised on one.network when confirmed, with signs on the affected road erected two weeks before the closure. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 September 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Daws Hill Lane, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Daws Hill Lane for approx. 56M.
Alternative route: Marlow Hill, Daws Hill Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a pole installment commences on 26 August 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 26 August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
(Public Footpath No.132/1 Parish of High Wycombe (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of Footpath No’s HWU 132/1, 133/1 & 131/1 and continues south to junction HWU 132/1, 128/1, 126/1 & 119/1 for the entire length.
The closure is required to enable the hosting of the CPSA World Championship in the interest of public safety. Alternative route is via HWU 128/1-WWY 24/1 or HWU 119/1 – LAE 58/1 – PWE 10/2.
The Order will come into operation on 11 July 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
(Public Footpaths Nos. 128/1, 126/1, 127/1 & 119/1, Parish of West Wycombe) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length commencing at the junction of HWU 231/1, WWY 21/1 & HWU 128/1 and continues south to the junction of HWU 119/1 and then continues south to join HWU 117/1 at point approx. HWU 126/1 & HWU 127/1 is also closed for the entire length.
The closure is required to enable West Wycombe Estate to host the CPSA World Championships in Hellbottom Wood. Alternative route is via proposed public route joining HWU 119/1 and HWU 117/1.
The Order will come into operation on 11 July 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
