RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Prifyrdd ar gyfer Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Trafg Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu creu Gorchymyn, a hynny heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, a fydd yn cyfwyno’r cyfyngiadau a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol er mwyn cynnal gwaith atgyweirio ar y lôn gerbydau ac mae cau’r fordd er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd gan nad yw’n ddigon llydan i gynnal mynediad yn ddiogel tra bod y gwaith yn mynd rhagddo. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 20/07/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis neu nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 09:00 a 17:00 o 20/07/2025 i 27/07/2025. Atodlen - Ni chaif neb achosi i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd Merlin Crescent, Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, o Rif 87 i Rif 119. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw trwy Kensington Drive, Westminster Way a Willesden Road. Ni fydd mynediad yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer gwasanaethau brys a cherddwyr o ganlyniad i’r gwaith gosod arwyneb newydd; fodd bynnag, bydd y mynediad yn cael ei gynnal o ddydd Llun i ddydd Sadwrn pan fydd y fordd yn ailagor rhwng y gwaith. Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion trafg a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyfredinol Arwyddion Trafg 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (MERLIN CRESCENT, BRIDGEND) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Secton 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulaton Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notce to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restricton set out in the schedule below. The Order is necessary due to carriageway patching works being conducted with the closure being in the interests of public safety due to there being insufcient width to safely maintain access when the works are in progress. The Order will come into force on the 20/07/2025 and will contnue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or untl such tme as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is antcipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 09:00am and 17:00pm from the 20/07/2025 to 27/07/2025. Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Merlin Crescent, Bridgend, From Number 87 to Number 119. The alternatve route for vehicles is via Kensington Drive, Westminster Way and Willesden Road. Access will not be maintained for emergency services and pedestrians as a result of the surfacing; however, this access will be maintained from Monday – Saturday when the road re-opens between the works. The restrictons shall however only apply at such tme and to such extent as shall from tme to tme be indicated by trafc signs prescribed by The Trafc Signs Regulatons and General Directons 2016.
