THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL 

VARIOUS ROADS IN THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE (TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025 

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed at a speed exceeding 30 mph along: Beverley Road, Cottingham (A164) (from approximately 100 metres south of Skidby Roundabout, Skidby to the junction with Skidby Roundabout, Skidby Skidby Roundabout, Skidby (A164) (full extent) Skidby Bypass, Skidby (A164) (full extent) Beverley Road, Bentley (A164) (full extent) Beverley Road, Woodmansey (Al 64) (from where it meets/ becomes Beverley Road, Bentley to near (south of) the junction ofVictoria Road South, Beverley/where the speed limit becomes 30 mph) MinsterWay,Woodmansey (A164) (from the junction with Regiment Roundabout, Beverley to the junction with Ward Way Roundabout, Woodmansey) Main Street, Skidby (C62) (from approximately 100 metres west of Skidby Roundabout to the junction with Skidby Roundabout, Skidby) Harland Way, Cottingham (B 1233) (from approximately 100 metres east of Skidby Roundabout to the junction with Skidby Roundabout, Skidby) Dunflat Road, Beverley (C60) (from approximately 100 metres west of the junction with Beverley Road, Bentley/Skidby Bypass, Skidby to the junction with Beverley Road, Bentley/Skidby Bypass, Skidby) Main Street, Bentley (Unc) (from approximately 100 metres west of the junction with Beverley Road, Bentley to the junction with Beverley Road, Bentley) Jocks Lodge Westbound Interchange, Beverley (A1079 SLIP ROAD) (full extent) Jocks Lodge Eastbound Interchange, Beverley (A1079 SLIP ROAD) (full extent) Beverley South Western Bypass, Walkington (A1079) (from approximately 1400 metres west of the junction with Jocks Lodge Interchange/Beverley Road, Woodmansey/Beverley Road, Bentley to where it meets/becomes Beverley South Western Bypass, Beverley) Beverley South Western Bypass, Beverley (A 1079) (from where it meets/becomes Beverley South Western Bypass, Walkington to approximately 1400 metres east of the junction with Jocks Lodge Interchange/Beverley Road, Woodmansey/Beverley Road, Bentley Commencing 8 July 2025 to allow Jocks Lodge Junction Improvement Scheme works to be carried out by East Riding of Yorkshire Council. 

The reduced speed limits are necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public and workforce. 

The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 8 January 2027.
