Great Gutter Lane East and Grange Park Lane, Willerby - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic to Allow Carriageway Maintenance Works
What is happening?

GREAT GUTTER LANE EAST AND GRANGE PARK LANE, WILLERBY (PARTS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along: Great Gutter Lane East, Willerby (between the junction with Great Gutter Lane Roundabout, Willerby and the entrance to Aldi) Grange Park Lane, Willerby (between the junction with Great Gutter Lane Roundabout, Willerby and the entrance to NHS Health House) Commencing 13 July 2025 to allow carriageway maintenance works to be carried out by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
The road closures are necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be carried out as follows: Great Gutter Lane East, Willerby: between 19.00 hours and 12 midnight, Monday to Friday (from 4-8 August 2025) and between 16.30 hours and 12 midnight on Sundays (13, 20 and 27 July 2025). Grange Park Lane, Willerby: Between 16.30 hours and 12 midnight on Sundays (13, 20 and 27 July 2025).
Works will all be completed by 8 August 2025. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Great Gutter Lane East, Willerby road closure will be via Great Gutter Lane East, Main Street, Willerby Square Roundabout, Beverley Road and Great Gutter Lane Roundabout, Willerby. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure.
The roads will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for residents, emergency services and pedestrians. There is no alternative route for traffic affected by the Grange Park Lane East, Willerby road closure as such. However, access to Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel will be maintained via Main Street, Willerby (at the rear of the hotel).
