(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:
• Lyncombe Vale Road, Lyncombe, Bath from its junction with Rosemount Lane extending south and then east onto Lyncombe Vale to a point outside the property known as The Lodge on Lyncombe Vale. USRN: 47901056/47901055.
• Lyncombe Vale, Lyncombe, Bath from a point outside the property known as The Lodge extending north east to its junction with Rosemount Lane. USRN: 47901055.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out Gas main upgrade works from the 21st July 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
Lyncombe Vale Road – Works are anticipated to take place between 21st July – 8th August 2025.
Lyncombe Vale – Works are anticipated to take place between 4th August – 29th August 2025.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Rosemount Lane – Lyncombe Vale – Lyncombe Vale Road – Vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Wick Lane, Camerton from its junction with Whitebrook Lane extending eastwards and continuing onto Carlingcott to its junction with Carlingcott Lane. USRN: 47918092/47920247.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to recover 5 x poles on the 11th July 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 08:30-15:30hrs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Carlingcott (remainder) – Withyditch Lane – B3115 Tunley Road – B3115 Bath Road – B3115 Tunley Hill – Camerton Road – Red Hill – Bridge Place Road – Wick Lane – vice versa.
