SPECIAL EVENTS – COMMENCING 01 AUGUST 2025 UNTIL 01 JANUARY 2026

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, is satisfied that traffic on the said Roads should be prohibited for the purpose of holding a number of social events and proposes to make an Order, the effect of which is that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait along the lengths of Road as listed in the Schedule to this Order. Emergency vehicles and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

This Order permits Event Organisers to enter, for the purposes of holding their event, roads listed as closed in the Schedule to this Order and those areas listed as closed under the current Poole Quay/High Street Summer Closure Order.

The proposed Order will operate from 1 August 2025 and will continue in force up to and including 1 January 2026. Anticipated event dates and times are listed in the Schedule to this Notice, although some minor changes may be made prior to the event occurring.
