North Tyneside - Multiple Road Restriction For A Sewer Cleanse And CCTV Survey

What is happening?

THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF NORTH TYNESIDE

VENTNOR GARDENS, MARINE AVENUE LANE, EASTBOURNE GARDENS LANE, WHITLEY BAY
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on:

1. Ventnor Gardens from outside numbers 25-30.

2. Marine Avenue Lane to the rear of number 30 Clovelly Gardens.

3. Eastbourne Gardens Lane to the rear of numbers 11-17 Eastbourne Gardens.

Alternate routes will be indicated by on site signage. Only one restriction will be in effect at any one time.

The proposed temporary Order is required to carry out a sewer cleanse and CCTV survey. There will be no excavation taking place.

The Order will come into force on 25 July 2025 for a period not exceeding 1 day.
