(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6518 Cleveland Terrace Buteland Terrace Back Lane Newbiggin-by-the Sea from its junction with Buteland Terrace to Cleveland Avenue Link heading westwards for a distance of 20 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 21st July 2025 until the 1st August 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 21st July 2025 until the 25th July 2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st August 2025.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

The closure has been requested by Sunbelt Rentals to connect a new service on behalf of Northern Powergrid. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
