Atcham, Shropshire - Various Streets Temporary Restrictions Of Waiting & Parking
What is happening?
THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL
(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING
PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (VARIOUS STREETS,
ATCHAM) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025
On 1 July 2025 Shropshire Council made an order to introduce the following parking restrictions in Atcham:
No waiting at any time
C5062 Atcham to
Cross Houses road
(both sides)
From its junction with the B4380 at Atcham for a
distance of 100 metres in a southerly direction.
C5137 road leading to Chilton Larches (both sides)
From its junction with the C5062 Atcham to Cross Houses road for a distance of 20 metres in a westerly direction.
Access road leading to
St Eata Parish Church
(both sides)
Malthouse Lane
(both sides)
From its junction with the B4380 for a distance of 11 metres in a southerly direction.
From its junction with the B4380 for a distance of
20 metres in a southerly direction.
These changes will come into effect on 10 July 2025.
A copy of the order may be examined during normal office hours (8:45am5:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:45am-4:00pm on Fridays) at Shropshire Council, The Guildhall, Frankwell, Shrewsbury.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or any provisions in it, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from 1 July 2025, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
