U6509 INSTITUTE ROAD ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order which will restrict the speed by vehicular traffic from 20 MPH down to 5 MPH on that section of the U6509 Institute Road Ashington for its entire length of 120 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective on the 6th July 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be restricted on the 6th July 2025 between 07:00 hours and 19:00 hours on 6th July 2025.
Exemptions will be included in the Order.

The speed restriction has been requested by Ashington Town Council due to the likelihood of danger to the public when entering and exiting the Ashington Fayre Day Event which is scheduled to take place on the 6th July 2025.
