Tumbling Hill Street, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Construction Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL TUMBLING HILL STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works proposed to be executed on or near Tumbling Hill Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Tumbling Hill Street from its junction with Smith Street for approximately 30 metres in a north-westerly direction.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used hi connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Hill Street (unaffected section) Thornton Road, Listerhills Road, Smith Street and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 07:30 hours on the 14th July 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 17th August 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
