(THAMES WATER UTILITIES LIMITED MAINS REHABILITATION SCHEME – Woodford128)(Various Roads))
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The NEWHAM LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL, hereby gives notice that it intends to make an Order, the general effect of which will be to prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding or waiting in the carriageway on the various roads and parts thereof shown in the schedule below, to allow works on or near the road.
The Order will be made to permit Thames Water Utilities Limited to carry out water mains replacement works for the Woodford128 Water Mains Rehabilitation Scheme. The prohibition applies from 10th July 2025 until 10th January 2027. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by January 2027, and may generally require only small (approximately 100 metres) sections of roads to be restricted at any time.
Vehicular traffic will be diverted via local adjacent roads, one way streets will, where necessary, will revert to two-way working when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access to premises will not be affected.
This order will not apply to vehicles used by the Emergency Services, or in connection with the works for access purposes.
