What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

CHURCHILL DRIVE, UPPER BRUNTINGTHORPE

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 29/07/2025 and have a maximum duration of

8 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days to allow National Grid to undertake new mains connection works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Mere Rd.

Churchill Dr, Upper Bruntingthorpe for its entire length.

STATION ROAD, GREAT BOWDEN & GREAT BOWDEN ROAD, MARKET HARBOROUGH

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of

12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 12 nights to allow Amey Rail on behalf of Network Rail to undertake S278 work to the railway bridge & highway. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

SCHEDULE 1

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

Station Rd, Great Bowden from Great Bowden Rd to Berry Cl, Great Bowden Rd, Market Harborough from Station Rd to Bowden Ridge.

RUSHES LANE, CHURCH WALK, LUBENHAM

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 28/07/2025 and have a maximum duration of 26 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 weeks to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake highway drainage improvements. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

FROM MAIN STREET TO WATERFALL WAY, MEDBOURNE

INCLUDING PEDESTRIANS, EQUESTRIANS & NON-MOTORISED TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 28/07/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake gully maintenance works.

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING BAYS ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 29/07/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake new pipe connection works.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 07/07/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Gigaclear to undertake new fibre installation works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway patching works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.
