NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980

(MORLEY PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 81) DIVERSION ORDER 2025

The above Order, made on 30 June 2025, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath commencing from a point, SE 2820 2483, 14 metres westnorth-west of the junction of Morley Footpath No. 81 with Morley Footpath No. 74, north of 45 Woollin Crescent, and proceeding for a distance of 109 metres to a point, SE 2809 2486, then for 41 metres to a point, SE 2806 2484 at the junction with Morley Footpath No. 108, on to a new line running from a point, SE 2820 2483, 14 metres west-north-west of the junction of Morley Footpath No. 81 with Morley Footpath No. 74, north of 45 Woollin Crescent and proceeding for a distance of 120 metres to a point, SE 2809 2488, then for a distance of 39 metres to appoint, SE 2806 2485 at the junction with Morley Footpath 108, as shown on the Order Map.

And a spur footpath commencing from a point SE 2809 2486 at it’s junction with the existing Morley Footpath No. 81, for a distance of 40 metres to a point, SE 2807 2489, at the junction with Morley Footpath No. 108 opposite Haigh Wood, on to a new line running from a point, SE 2809 2488, at the junction with the new Morley Footpath No.81 and proceeding for a distance of 29 metres to a point, SE 2807 2490, at the junction with Morley Footpath No. 108 as shown on the Order Map.

8.00am to 4.00pm on Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 3.30pm on Friday and also at Morley Community Hub and Library, Commercial Street, Morley, Leeds LS27 8HZ during normal opening hours until 31 July 2025. Copies of the Order and Map may also be viewed online www.leeds.gov.uk/ PROWorders or obtained by emailing PROW@leeds.gov.uk or calling 0113 378 8625.

Any representation or objection relating to the order must be sent in writing to Definitive Map Team, Farnley Hall, Hall Lane, Leeds LS12 5HA, or by email to PROW@leeds.gov.uk (Quoting reference 226448), not later than 31 July 2025, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Leeds City Council may themselves confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with it. DATED 3 July 2025
