(A708 OLD TINNIS TO YARROWLEA) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (A708 Old Tinnis to Yarrowlea) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 9 July 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days until 16 July 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on weekdays only. The road will be open over the weekend of  12 and 13 July 2025. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A708 at Old Tinnis to Yarrowlea.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A708, A701, A72, A707 and A708 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of  the foregoing.
