ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

U4013 MOUNTAIN JUNCTION TO
LITTLE RYLE JUNCTION WHITTINGHAM MILE END JUNCTION WHITTINGHAM
U4014 ESLINGTON LOW HILL JUNCTION TO
C169 ELILAW TO GLANTON, GLANTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways described below in the County of Northumberland.

U4013 Mountain Junction to Little Ryle Junction Whittingham

On a section of the U4013 Mountain Junction to Little Ryle Junction from its junction with C90 Whittingham to Glanton heading in a north westerly direction for a distance of 1942 metres in the County of Northumberland.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 21st July 2025 until the 22nd July 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th August 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C90, C172, U4009, U4010, C169,U4014 and vice versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U4014 Eslington Low Hill Junction to Mile End Junction, Whittingham

On a section of the U4014 Eslington Low Hill Junction to Mile End Junction from its junction with the U4013 Mountain Junction to Little Ryle Junction heading in a northwards direction for a distance of 701 metres in the County of Northumberland.

It is expected that the road will be closed on the 23rd July 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th August 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U4013, C90, C172, U4009, U4010, C169 and vice versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly. C169 Elilaw to Glanton, Glanton

On that section of the C169 Elilaw to Glanton from its junction with U4014 Eslington Low Hill Junction to Mile End Junction heading in south westwards direction for a distance of 2389 metres in the County of Northumberland.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 24th July 2025 until the 25th July 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th August 2025. An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U4014, U4013, C90, C172, U4009,U4010 and vice versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The Order is to be effective from the 21st July 2025 until the 8th August 2025

The closure has been requested by Mike Dowson LTD for installation off new ducting and joint boxes on behalf of Openreach. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

U6109 CURLEY KEWS MORPETH
U6109 WOODHILL DRIVE MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland:

• U6109 Curley Kews Morpeth from its junction with  High Stanners for a distance of 338 metres in a south- westerly direction to its intersection with Woodhill Drive.

• U6109 Woodhill Drive Morpeth from its intersection  with Curley Kews for a distance of 320 metres in a south-westerly direction.

The Order is to be effective from the 21st July 2025 until the 27th February 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the following dates during this period: • From the 21st July 2025 until the 21st August 2025  between the hours of 09:00 and 16:30 • From the 26th August 2025 until the 29th August  2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:30. • The Order however will remain in place until the  27th February 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Oldgate, Bridge Street, Road over Telford Bridge, Castle Bank, Great North Road South, Spelvit Lane, Swansfield, Abbey Meadows and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14(1)
C119 GRANGE ROAD WIDDRINGTON STATION
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C119 Grange Road from its junction with B1337 Grangemoor Road for a distance of 170 metres in a southeasterly direction in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 21st July 2025 until the 21st January 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 21st July 2025 until the 8th August 2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 21st January 2026.

Weather dependant phases: Civils 21/07/2025 – 01/08/2025, Resurfacing 04/08/2025 – 08/08/2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B1337, A1068, C120, C119 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

MORPETH TOWN PUBLIC FOOTPATH
NUMBER 1
(TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intend to make an Order to prohibit the use of Morpeth Town Public Footpath Number 1, in the County of Northumberland.

The route is described as follows: From a point 315 metres south-east of St George’s roundabout on the Morpeth Northern Bypass in a general north-easterly direction for a distance of 240 metres to a point 380 metres south-east of St George’s Roundabout.

There is an alternative route available from a point 315 metres south-east of St George’s roundabout on the Morpeth Northern Bypass in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 25 metres then continuing in a general north-easterly direction for a distance of 245 metres to a point 380 metres south-east of St George’s Roundabout. The Order is to be effective from the 21st July 2025 until the 21st January 2026.

The closure has been requested by Barratt Davis Wilson Homes Limited in the interests of public safety, to facilitate the construction of residential dwellings.

C130 HEBRON JUNCTION TO
BUTTERWELL JUNCTION HEBRON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C130 Hebron Junction to Butterwell Junction Hebron from its junction with the A1 heading in a westerly direction for a distance of 1025 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 7th July 2025 until the 7th January 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 7th July 2025 until the 18th July 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 7th January 2026. Weather dependant phases: Civils 07/07/2025-11/07/2025 and Resurfacing 14/07/2025-18/07/2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being the A1, A197, B1337, C130 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, intends to make the above-named Order.

The effect of the Order, if made, will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by extending the ‘no waiting at any time’ parking restrictions on sections of The Wynding in Bamburgh.

The restrictions can also be viewed in map format, as the maps form part of the map-based schedule to the Order.
