THE HARINGEY (ALEXANDRA PALACE N22) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (ATTRO) ORDER 2025

The Council of the London Borough of Haringey under section 14(1) by virtue of sections 22C and 22D Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below for a purpose relating to danger or damage connected with terrorism:–

The general effect of the Order: To close the roads at the following locations in the London Borough of Haringey detailed in the table below during a Major Event taking place at or within the bounds of Alexandra Palace N22. The restrictions will apply up to 2 hours in advance of the published start time for the said event and will end 90 minutes after the conclusion of the event. These locations will be enforced with a combination of vehicle safety barriers deployed as part of a Hostile Vehicle Mitigation strategy that can also include traffic calming measures and Traffic Management vehicles. “Major Event” means an event which is planned to take place, or which is taking place at or within the bounds of Alexandra Park, Alexandra Palace Way, London N22 7AY, where the site can accommodate an attendance of 10,000 persons or more, not including any staff or contractors engaged in either the operation or management of the aforementioned arena or event.

3.Buckingham Road N22 – at its junction with The Park Avenue/Station Road roundabout
4.St Michaels Terrace N22 – at its junction with Buckingham Road
5.Alexandra Park Road N22 – at a point approximately 50 metres southwest from its junction with Bedford Road
6.Alexandra Palace Way/South Terrace N22 (1) – at its junction with Bedford Road
7.Alexandra Palace Way/South Terrace N22 (2) – at its junction with the cricket ground access road (approximately 20 metres southwest from Bedford Road)
8.Alexandra Palace Way/South Terrace N22 (3) – at its junction with the east car park entrance/roundabout (approximately 530 metres southwest from Bedford Road)
9.Alexandra Palace Way/South Terrace N22 (4) – at the northern arm of the southern car park access road (approximately 500 metres north from the junction with Priory Road)
10.Alexandra Palace Way/South Terrace N22 (5) at the southern arm of the southern car park access road (approximately 60 metres north of its junction with Priory Road)
11.Alexandra Palace Way/South Terrace N22 (6) – at its junction with Priory Road
Pedestrian access may also be prohibited at such times as directed by Police Constable or event stewards or security guards employed by a company contracted to provide security for the Alexandra Palace event.

Operational Dates: The Order will come into force on Monday 7th July 2025 and will last for a maximum duration of 18 months.

The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by traffic signs. For road closures, alternative routes will be directed by traffic signs. Access will be maintained where possible. For more information contact Traffic Management Group on 020 8489 1300.
