(GLASGOW ROAD (A8) AREA) (NO. 2) (TEMPORARY ROAD
RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION)
ORDER 2025 – TEMP/25/88
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate investigative surveys relating to drainage and geotechnical works, no person shall, except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle between Mon to Thu, from 09:30hrs to 15:30hrs each day and from 19:30hrs to 06:30hrs each day, from any vehicle on any part of: (i) Newbridge Roundabout, both sides, from Edinburgh Rd (A89) eastbound, north-eastwards, eastwards and then south-eastwards to Glasgow Rd (A8) eastbound; (ii) Glasgow Rd (A8), both sides, from Newbridge Roundabout, eastwards to the underpass at Gogar Roundabout; and (iii)
Ingliston Interchange eastbound on-slip to Glasgow Road (A8), both sides, in its entirety. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described. The Order shall have effect from 07/07/25 to 30/09/25 during the hours specified above.
