What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL (DUNCAN STREET) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 – TEMP/25/89

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate a safe working area for Scottish Water valve repair works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on Duncan St at Minto St; and (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on Duncan St from the south-west kerbline of Minto St, south-westwards for 20m. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected section of road described. The eastbound one-way restriction on Duncan St, between Upper Gray St and Minto St shall be suspended for the duration of this Order. The alternative route for vehicles is Sth Gray St, W Mayfield and Minto St. The order shall have effect from 9/7/25 to 18/7/25.
