What is happening?
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS WROXHALL DRIVE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Wroxhall drive commencing from its junction with Yarningale Road and continuing to its junction with Cardiff Close.
The Order will come into effect on 00.01 hours on Friday 11th July 2025 and is required to allow Seven Trent Water to repair a reinstatement defect in the carriageway on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Friday 11th July 2025.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site. Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Wroxhall Drive.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS WASTE LANE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Waste Lane for its full length.
The Order will come into effect on 00.01 hours on Saturday 5th July 2025 and is required to allow BT to carry out underground and overhead cabling works on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Saturday 5th July 2025.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Waste Lane.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS LEOFRIC STREET, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Leofric Street from its junction with Moseley Avenue and continuing to its junction with Loudon Avenue.
The Order will come into effect on 08.00 hours on Sunday 6th July 2025 and is required to allow Seven Trent Water to carry out chamber cover repairs on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 18.00 hours on Sunday 6th July 2025.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Leofric Street.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS FALCON AVENUE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding Falcon Avenue for its entire length unless specified otherwise.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 7th July 2025 and is required for allow Severn Trent Water pipe connection works on the highway to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 23:59 hours on Thursday 10th July 2025.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversions for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS ASTHILL GROVE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding Asthill Grove from its junction with Adare Drive to its junction with Asthill Croft.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Friday 11th July 2025 and is required for allow Severn Trent Water reinstatement works on the highway to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 23:59 hours on Friday 11th July 2025.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Palm Tree Avenue between its junction with Fern Close and its junction with Heather Road.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 7th July 2025 and is required for allow Section 50 foul connection pipe installation works on the highway to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 23:59 hours on Friday 11th July 2025.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversions for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS GODIVA FESTIVAL 2025
Coventry City Council (“the Council”), under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has made a temporary Order to enable safe pedestrian access and egress at the War Memorial Park for members of the public attending the Godiva Festival 2025 (“the Event”).
The Order will take effect from 17:00 on Friday 4th July 2025 until 20.30 hours on Sunday 6th July 2025.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading, or unloading, entering or proceeding on the lengths of road set out in The Schedule below.
The restrictions will apply at such times and to such extent when prescribed traffic signs are being displayed.
Exemptions to the Order will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or an authorised event marshal;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles when necessary at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the Event.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Phase 1
Closure of Leamington Road, northbound carriageway only, from junction with Daventry Road, to junction with Warwick Road. Access to festival car park only.
Signed diversions in place, Leamington Road southbound carriageway open as normal.

Closure of Stivichall Croft and Coat of Arms Bridge Road between junction with Baginton Road and junction with Green Lane.
Closure of Kenilworth Road, between junction with Davenport Road and Warwick Road (traffic is diverted via Davenport Road – right turn only onto Spencer Road – left turn only onto Warwick Road).
Closure of Warwick Road between Michaelmas Road and Leamington Road (traffic is diverted via Michaelmas Road – Stoney Road – Humphrey Burton Road – left turn only onto Leamington Road).
Dynamic closures of Kenilworth Road at junction with Earlsdon Avenue South, to manage safe egress of pedestrians. Traffic held and allowed through when safe.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENT NORTHBROOK AC 10K FUN RUN & ALLESLEY FESTIVAL 2025
Coventry City Council, under Section 16A Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), has made a temporary Order to enable the Northbrook AC 10k Fun Run & Allesley Festival 2025 (“the Event”) to take place safely.
The Order will be in operation from 11:30 hours on Saturday 12th July 2025 until 16:00 on the same day and then from 08:00 hours on Sunday 13th July 2025 until 12:00 hours on Sunday 12th July 2025.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading, unloading, entering, or proceeding along the entire lengths of the roads listed, unless otherwise stated in Schedule 1 on Sunday 12th July 2025 from 08:00hrs to 12:00hrs, and Schedule 2 from 11:30 - 16:00 Saturday 12th July 2025 when prescribed traffic signs are being displayed. Suspension of parking along the entire lengths of the roads listed is not required unless otherwise stated.
Diversion routes for the closures will be as signed on site. Closures will be marshalled by Northbrook AC volunteers and the Chief Marshal who has undertaken chapter 8 training.
Rolling re opening of roads will be undertaken when it is safe to do so.
Exemptions will be provided for any vehicle being used in connection with the event, emergency service vehicles, any person upon the direction of or with the permission of a police officer in uniform or an authorised traffic management event marshal.
Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction and access through the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Heather Road commencing from its junction with the Palm Tree Avenue and continuing to its junction with Almond Tree Avenue.
The Order would come into effect at 00.01 hours on Monday 14th July 2025 and is required to allow Section 50 Street Works Act works to take place and for a foul connection to be carried out on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Friday 18th July 2025.
